..........Just Chillin' Here In this Cocoon

Usually my writing goes in floods and droughts.

The past few years I was pretty prolific on the blog, but lately my focus has been on the 2 books I'm working on (Relationship Transition & Blueprint).

I'm still writing every day, but the focus is there and not here.

Anyway, I "went away" for a while back around 2005-2006, and came back with the ideas you read on this blog the past few years. In the same way, I've kind of gone away, and I'm forumulating the ideas that are going to comprise RSD for the next couple of years.

I'm thinking to start posting back on here again, and maybe the short 2 page format articles on RSDN. I'll give it a shot and see if it's usurping my time away from the books again. Most important is that I don't have that creative flurry right now, because I'm back in the cocoon of new paradigms, as opposed to "emerging" from the previous paradigm like I was the past few years -- so we'll see.

btw, what are we up to at Real Social Dynamics?

Jeffy has just finished his book. HOLY SHIT!

My two books are going great. New RSDN launched. Papa is doing a tour of 245 cities in a year (that's 245 cities in 360 days, folks -- dude is insane).

Recording tons of infield footage, almost every night for months now. Hundreds of hours worth, maybe thousands. All with HD cams and hi teck wireless mics. It's for the World Summit we're doing this September in Las Vegas.

The bootcamps I've been teaching in LA have been going awesome. I look forward to it every weekend. Enjoying them like crazy -- coming back to teaching full time was one of the best decisions I ever made.

I'll hit this up a bit more next week.

First time I check your blog in a month and there is a new post, I said I was psychic...

I've been saying I'm in a Chrysalis, creating some great new stuff for my site.

Hmm... Vegas... September...

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of new revelations you come back with. Usually when we take time off from something, that's when all the breakthroughs show up that let us push through those plateaus.

Are you still planning on making the transition to self-help?

Good stuff, Tyler. As always, outstanding work coming from RSD. I forgot Jeffy was doing a book, I'm gonna have to look into that.

Hey there, id like to know more about Papa's "World Tour", what are his reasons behind this, is it an adventure, a challenge...? Im from Buenos Aires, signed up for the workshop and I honestly hope he can make it, both physically and mentally - he training for this?
Two years ago we had Tyler over here and had a good time, hope to see you soon again.

Tyler-

You mentioned the infield video that's going to be shown at the world summit in Vegas...I know this was discussed on an RSDNation thread. I understand the need to get compensation for content in the context of rampant intellectual piracy; however it really seems like infield video is more of a home-study type of medium, well suited for multiple viewings. The point of a live event is the in-person experience.

To see infield video is not a compelling selling point for a trip to Vegas, in my opinion, although there is a value-proposition in a home study product.

Not saying there isn't value in live events; I'll probably check out Papa's event when he comes to my city, btw.

cheers, TightGame

Watched transformations again last night... been a while since i last seen it and got huge value from it.

After getting into Eckhart Tolle and later, Jiddu Krishnamurti, through your blog's recommendation, I have really understood the content of Transformations a lot better.

Enjoy this blog much more than RSD Nation. Good to see you back.

ANY CHANCE OF A SNEAK PREVIEW AT SOME OF YOUR RECENTLY RECORDED INFIELD FOOTAGE? Just a five minute video on here to whet our appetites?

Keep it up, Owen.

Hey, Tyler. sounds like you're getting back into it. I really love that feeling of when you take a short break from something you love, then jump full force back into it. It happened to me also when I was getting back into music and promoting my band, so I figured I should learn how to scream properly again(it's a metal band).

best of wishes

Tyler, are you teaching natural bootcamps now or is it still technique based?

I would think it would have to be technique based for beginners... right?

Hey,
heard your ideas about leaders of men and travellers. Here in Sweden there existed a kind of informal institution in the times of horse and carriage whereby travelling salesmen known as "gårdfarihandlare" were offered the local farmers eldest daughter to lessen the risk of inbreeding. Just to add som validation to your theory.
